This web site is managed by the Army's Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. The NIKE missile was developed at the Redstone Arsenal.

This Nike launch site is the only mechanically operational site in the United States. Look for it at Fort Baker in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area on the Marin County side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Bill Shaw (W2HYN) was a Nike radar and computer technician stationed at site PR-38 (Page 148) from 1956 to 1963. His site has photographs and links to other Nike related web sites.

Ed Thelen's Nike Missile Web Site is the mother of all web sites about the Nike missile system.

The Detroit-Cleveland Defense Area is described at this well done web site.

The Cold War Civil Defense Museum has some very cool posters and other stuff.

Nike sites of the San Francisco Bay Area are found at this web site.
